UCLA Women's Studies Student Council
By Cynthia Ace
Women's Studies Student Council is a registered student-led campus
organization. All Women's Studies majors and minors are automatically
members. Just show up to become a part of this growing community of
individuals interested in issues impacting women.
Do you want to improve your leadership skills? Have you been looking for a
place to get involved? Do you have ideas about how to have fun? Do you want
to meet new people? Do you have a great idea? Is there an issue you would
like to address that would benefit from group support?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Women's Studies
Student Council is the place for you. Everyone, including juniors, seniors,
and men are welcome.
A
Current topic on the table is a canned food drive
for a Los Angeles based battered women's shelter. Meetings are held
bi-monthly at 5:15 p.m. in Rolfe Hall. Send an e-mail with any questions to
uclace@ucla.edu and include WSSC in the subject heading to get on our
mailing list, or to find out about upcoming meeting dates.
